In the counselling sessions I provide a non-judgemental, supportive, genuine way of listening where you can talk freely and in confidence about any concerns you have.

Coming for counselling can give you the space to gently explore what’s going on for you, look at the emotional impact life events have had on you, and together we can find possible ways for you to move forward with your life.

Everyone is unique with their own experience of life, and has the potential for growth and change, counselling is a time and place where this can happen.

I’m a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, giving you peace of mind that I abide by their ethical framework for Good Practice.

Some feedback I’ve received about the counselling service I provide:-

‘I feel very privileged to have met and had the time I had with Lizzie, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough’

‘I found Lizzie competent and non-judgemental, I could talk to her forever’

Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes at the same time each week. You may want short term counselling which is between 6-12 sessions or longer term which is more open ended with an end time agreed between us when you feel ready.

Please call to arrange a free first appointment where we can discuss what you’re looking for and see if I’m the right counsellor for you.

Hi and welcome to my profile.

If you are thinking about counselling you might be feeling anxious about the process and unsure how counselling might help you. I believe the quality of the relationship between you and your counsellor is the most important factor in finding what you want from therapy so I will tell you a bit about how we might work together and if you like the sound of my approach then feel free to contact me using the information below.

I think that counselling is ultimately about helping you to feel better. You may be wanting help with a particular issue, or struggling to identify exactly what is troubling you – as a Humanistic Integrative counsellor I will work with you to understand the unique way you experience the world and support you to gain a better understanding of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Through counselling you can discover how to manage the challenges you are facing and have a healthier, happier relationship to yourself and others.

I have helped people struggling with a wide range of issues including anxiety, confidence, identity and relationships and supported them to find their voice at a time when they may not have the words. I have worked as a counsellor for students of all ages at a further education college in Brighton and before that with parents at a children’s centre in Tunbridge Wells.

I work with adults 18+ and offer both short term counselling (usually 6-12 sessions) and longer-term counselling, where we would agree an ending between us during the course of therapy. Counselling sessions last for 50 mins, at the same time each week.

I gained my Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling at Wealden Psychology Institute. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) which means I am committed to working in your best interests. I am fully insured.

Well done on taking the first step to finding a counsellor. If you would like to discuss a face to face meeting with me then you can contact me on:
